Break In @ GVGC

20 Feb 2023 by Ethan Start

Dear Members,

Please be advised that the GVGC recently had a break in and significant items were stolen. There has also been damage to the shed abutting our storage container.

Police were onsite today undertaking a crime scene assessment, should you have any information or had seen something suspicious, please email the club at northeasternarchers@gmail.com

On assessment our container does not appear to have been touched (yet!).

However, both the Target Range and Come & Try range had a target each, uncovered. I have also retrieved an arrow from the main range target (If this is yours, please see me).

This is again a reminder to *ALL** members, to please be vigilant when out there during the week outside of Saturday club days. Please take note of who you see and when you see them (vehicles/person). For your safety it is not recommended for you to approach unknown persons, please simply record and forward on information.

Further, this is a reminder for ALL members AND visitors to use the QR code to sign in. this is a requirement of our insurance and affiliation to Archery Victoria/Australia. It also assists the committee in knowing how frequent our members use the range for decision making.

This weekend, Saturday 25th of February is PC Round 2, a reminder that it will be a 120-arrow round (long day). Please arrive early to assist in setup, registrations automatically close Friday 5:30pm. If you miss registering but are going to attend, please send me a message (Ethan, northeasternarchers@gmail.com).

Canteen is taking lunch orders, please refer to the PC Round 2 Event notice.

WEEKLY SHOOT FEE $5 applies.

At sign-in please remember to have your AA card and Shoot fee.
